A curious and creative makeup obsessive, Clara spent her childhood exploring her mum and grandma’s makeup bags, trying each shade of lipstick and eyeshadow on for size. Her passion for makeup stuck and in 2020, she graduated with top scores in her class from the Academy of Freelance Makeup in London, a venerated makeup institution. At ease with the high demands of session work, she has several seasons of London and Milan Fashion Week under her belt and has worked with global fashion designers and makeup brands including NARS. Clara values the personal touch with clients, and whether they are commercial or private, she always begins with a thorough consultation, creating a relaxed and calm environment to work her makeup magic. Passionate about all things eyes and using her developed techniques to emphasise colour and shape, Clara is a fan of natural beauty and creating an enticingly minimal look which she considers timeless and inclusive of all skin types.

When the first MAC store opened in her native Budapest, fourteen-year-old Leandra had her lightbulb moment and knew that makeup was her calling. A long-term fan of art and painting, she was fascinated by the idea that makeup artists could paint using peoples’ faces as the canvas. Leandra came to London to study a makeup course at the London College of Fashion then after high school studied at KREA, a Hungarian contemporary art school where she learnt about art and fashion history. After graduating, Leandra returned to London and took a makeup course at the Academy of Freelance Makeup where she specialised in red carpet and bridal makeup, helping her master these important and in-demand areas of makeup knowledge. Leandra has worked with eminent makeup artists Ana Takahashi and Kelly Dawn and with major fashion and beauty brands including Armani Beauty. Passionate about inner beauty, Leandra loves bringing out her clients’ “born with it” aesthetic rather than using makeup to hide features.

Margherita discovered her passion for professional makeup after relocating from her native Italy to London. After gaining a foundation level degree in theatrical makeup and hair, she worked in the fashion industry for high-end brands Gucci, Prada, Rick Owens, Victoria Beckham and many more. She has also worked her makeup magic on set with major recording artists including Kylie Minogue, and her makeup creations have been seen in major publications Elle and L’Officiel. She describes her approach to makeup as “very creative", colour-filled and feature-enhancing and loves a lifted and refined look. With non-commercial clients, Margherita’s approach is personal with a delicate touch that puts them at ease, relaxes and soothes, which makes them feel uplifted by her service.

At eighteen, the bright-eyed Margherita attended MUD Studio in Milan, a top makeup school with a high fashion edge. After university, she returned to makeup education in London, where she studied at the London School of Media Makeup in 2018. She began her career as a makeup artist at Chanel boutiques where she learned what makes great customer service and the crucial ability to work with all skin types. With a deep love of the intersection between beauty and fashion, Margherita is passionate about mixing glam, editorial and edgier aesthetics. However, she maintains that any makeup artist worth their salt needs to nail the basics of makeup on everyone, no matter their skin tone, type or age, before going further into experimentation. Margherita loves creating a watercolour eye look and glass-effect skin, using a rich moisturiser, light base and liquid and cream highlighters to reveal a luminous and seemingly flawless complexion. 

Polly grew up wanting to play with colour and started her creative process by experimenting with her mum’s range of lipsticks. Later on, she studied photography, where she learned how to construct an image and this led her to the next stage, to want to work with makeup professionally. Polly holds a degree in hair and makeup and is a former beauty editor of a leading beauty, art and culture publication. In her eight-years-and-counting career, Polly has worked with numerous celebrities, beauty brands and leading publications and believes good makeup masters should always be having fun and experimenting. She advises other makeup artists to be playful with their work as it can be wiped off and started again. As a seasoned makeup artist, Polly is passionate about revealing that inner shine from a face and doesn’t believe that skin should be “covered up” but rather enhanced, an approach that aligns with the Beam message beautifully. 

Rosie’s passion for makeup goes back to early childhood when she cheekily grabbed an eyeliner from her mum’s makeup bag and made herself a pirate, complete with eye-patch and beard! She has an impressive educational grounding in makeup, having studied an extended diploma in Art & Design in Theatrical Makeup & Prosthetics at Rugby College followed by a Hair & Makeup for Fashion course at the highly respected University of the Arts London. While Rosie’s professional makeup aesthetic leans towards natural glam, she also loves exploring Cyberpunk, Gothic and Period makeup looks, including iconic 1920s and 1960s makeup styles. For budding makeup artists, Rosie advises shadowing people in the industry to learn insider makeup tricks and make lasting connections. When it comes to client work, she suggests tailoring approaches based on their level of makeup knowledge.

Viviane discovered her passion for makeup during university while studying fashion design when she found a creative outlet by experimenting with a friend’s old eyeshadow palette filled with vibrant colours. Since then, she has worked with iconic brands such as Nike, Adidas, Paul Smith Design, Gucci, Tom Ford, and Lacoste, as well as with magazines, music artists, and short films. Known for her signature style of soft, glowy, and polished skin, she creates cohesive colour stories where every detail works in harmony. Her editorial work showcases bold shapes, vibrant colours, and striking textures, drawing inspiration from 90s glam and 70s/80s cinema makeup. Viewing makeup as both art and wellness, she is fascinated by innovative, tech-driven beauty products like colour-changing cosmetics from The Unseen Beauty as well as natural and organic beauty brands like Avril. She encourages aspiring makeup artists to stay curious, learn from others, and continually practice to develop their style and network. With every project, Viviane approaches her work with openness, ensuring clients feel comfortable and confident while bringing their vision to life.
